Well done and thank you to the students from the English School of Kyrenia who visited Kyrenia Animal Rescue Centre on Sunday 29th October at 10.00am.

The visit was organised by Tanel, a student, and teachers and members of the Rotary club came too. They brought gifts for the animals and spent lots of time looking around. They walked about 20 dogs and if they had time they would have walked many more.

They listened intently while Maggie Smith  of the Education team talked to them about K.A.R and the importance of vaccination for cats and dogs and also neutering. Naran Eyup, a member of the Rotary Club of Kyrenia St Hilarion, was keen to involve the students in raising public awareness about the importance of these issues.

A big thank you too to Elaine, the Centre manager, who happily got as many dogs out as needed for the walk and talked to the students while looking after other visitors to the centre and doing the jobs she needed to do. It was a very busy morning.
