Unsatisfactory letter from UK Eastern Mediterranean Department of the UK FCO regarding the TRNC Embargoes

Over the past weeks I have sent a number of letters or emails to Prime Minister, Teresa May and Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson about the issues affecting Ercan Airport and was pleased to report that a reply was forthcoming but this did not respond to the points I made in my letter so I posted a further letter to them.

We give below details of the films which are being shown at the Starlux Cinema, Karaoğlanoğlu for week commencing Friday 6th October 2017 until Thursday 12th October 2017.

It was good to see on The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR) Facebook page the photos and also a report sent to its members by TFR secretary Ralph Kratzer about some of the members’ participation in the recent KADS (Kyrenia Amateur Dramatic Society) productions at the Pia Bella Hotel.

The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR) will be holding its 20^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Acmenya Restaurant, Alsancak, at 11.30am on Saturday 28^th October 2017.

The biggest TRNC Creditwest, Autumn, Cricket League is starting on the 1^st of October 2017. Eight teams will be participating including some of the famous cricket clubs from the past such as The Gentlemen of Girne who were four times TRNC Champions and twice all Cyprus Champions.

Miko Peled, author of The General’s Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine will be speaking at The Hermitage. Kyrenia on Saturday 21st October 2017 at 7pm.

The Creditwest TRNC Cricket ladies begin training for the autumn season next Saturday 23rd September, with the North Cyprus League starting in a few weeks and matches planned against teams from South Cyprus.
