North Cyprus Events Calendar from 7th March 2019

A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus. For those charity fund-raisers, venues etc. who would like to include an event in the Weekly Events Calendar, contact Chris or Margaret at cyprusscene.com.

The Events Calendar is published every week on Thursday so please try to submit information you would like to be included by Tuesday evening each week.

The North Cyprus Forum events calendar is now incorporated on the cyprusscene website where you can register as a member and post your own events.

2^nd – 30^th March – Saturdays	Island Studio will be holding a series of art classes on Saturdays – 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th starting at 10am, at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy. Materials will be provided. Reservations must be made in advance – call 0548 857 3244.

10^th March -Sunday	16^th Orchid Walk – Kozankoy to Karsiyaka. 35TL donation. Organised by the Cancer Research Fund (KAV) and sponsored by Telsim.
10^th March – Sunday	Car Boot Sale at Selvi Strip, Ozankoy, in front of Tim’s Cafe & Bar, from 11am. 20TL per car. In aid of Hope 4 Pets. The car boot events will be held fortnightly.
11^th March – Monday	Football : Girne Halk Evi v Yenicamı (SL) at 20 Temmuz Mete Adanir Stadium, Girne. Kick off 6.30pm floodlight match.
13^th March – Wednesday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services (112) will be holding their Afternoon Tea and Talk at the Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak at 3pm. The speaker will be Roger Bara talking about Life of Music and the BBC. To book contact Brenda on 0533 840 7834.

16^th April – Tuesday	Supper Club event at the Kaya Palazzo Hotel, Karaoglanoglu with Totally Tina. Tickets will be £50 per person. The event will be in aid of the British Cemetery Committee. More information to follow.
19^th April – Friday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be having Afternoon Tea in the Garden from 1pm.
31^st May – Friday	The Royal British Legion will be holding a Midsummer Gala Night under the Stars at the Ottoman Savoy Hotel, Girne. More details to follow.
15^th June – Saturday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be holding its annual Glastonvicki. A day of music, love, fun and laughter.
19^th June – Wednesday	Supper Club event at the Colony Garden will be Sing Baby Sing…the World’s no1 tribute to the Stylistics, featuring founder members of the group Heatwave…a hugely experienced group. The event will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). More information to follow.
20^th June – Thursday	The Black Olive Cafe will be holding Royal Ascot Ladies Day at 12.30pm. There will be a hat competition and a lovely menu and lots of fizz! More information to follow.
14^th September – Saturday	Queen tribute with Killer Queen at the Girne Amphitheatre which will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).. More information to follow.
