North Cyprus Events Calendar from 28th June 2018

A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus. For those charity fund-raisers, venues etc. who would like to include an event in the Weekly Events Calendar, contact Chris or Margaret at cyprusscene.com.

The Events Calendar is published every week on Thursday so please try to submit information you would like to be included by Tuesday/Wednesday evening each week.

The North Cyprus Forum events calendar is now incorporated on the cyprusscene website where you can register as a member and post your own events.

28^th June – Thursday	Quiz Night and Karaoke at SAS Bar (The Venue), Turtle Bay, Esentepe at 8.30pm. 5TL per person. To book teams call 0533 884 9816
28^th June – Thursday	Spaghetti Junction, Catalkoy, quiz night in aid of Tulips starting at 8 pm. 50 questions and a table top extra. 5TL per person. Quiz will be split 50/50 to the winning team and Tulips. Raffle 5TL a ticket, winner chooses envelope for meal for 2 at Spaghetti Junction, bottle of wine, or money. If the money is not won on the night it rolls over.

29^th June – Friday	The Olive Press Bowls Club, Lapta will be holding a quiz night in aid of KTW (Karsiyaka Turtle Watch) starting at 7.30pm. 5tl per person for the quiz and also there is a Brainbuster Question that rolls over each month until someone gets the correct answer, that is an optional buy at 5tl as well. 3rd July – Tuesday	Gillham’s Wine Culture will hold its first Let’s Talk Wine Event in the newly completed Tourism Centre in Ilgaz. An afternoon of wine, knowledge and discovery to learn about wine culture and more. The topic this month will be Wine Glasses and its Effects on the Taste. 11^th September – Tuesday	Best Seller, Karakum will be having a book signing of Through the Third Eye by Olcay Akdeniz from 1pm. A very enjoyable book.
~~15^th September – Saturday~~ SORRY – THIS IS NOW CANCELLED	The King Is Back 2018 World Tour, an international Las Vegas style Elvis show, with 10 musicians and vocalists on stage, plus the incomparable Ben Portsmouth as Elvis. This will be staged at Girne Amphitheatre. An event not to be missed. In aid of the Civil Emergency Service Volunteers (CESV).
15^th September – Saturday	British Residents Society – Blood Donor Day at Dr Akcicek Hospital, Girne from 10am. If you are able to give blood please try to attend.
19^th September – Wednesday	The Supper Club will be presenting the Jersey Boys at the Colony Garden, Girne. The event will feature 4 principal singers from the Jersey Boys Show (the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons story) in London’s West End. More details will follow in due course.
