Hi,
We would like to thank Wines of the World (Alsancak) for sponsoring the 2nd Tulips Wine Tasting event which was held on Saturday 16th December 2017.
Once again the support was overwhelming with approx 70 people attending throughout the afternoon all helping to raise a fabulous total of 2,855.10TL!
As Christmas is just around the corner we decided a few mince pies were in order for this occasion and so our thanks must go to Philomena Miles who cooked and donated the most delicious, mouth-watering mince pies, all of which were gone in an hour!
Thank you to David Griffiths of Wines of the World for running this event for us, Sue Groutage, Lesley Greenhill and Barbara Willbye, who all helped on the day, taking entrance fees, washing the endless stream of dirty glasses and selling raffle tickets and to everyone who attended and parted with their hard earned cash, without whom this event would not have been the success that it was.
