White Sauce with Rosemary

BBQ TimeSummertime is BBQ time. And a good barbecue meal tradtionally includes delicious sauces. Of course, nowadays you can find a wide range of prefabricated sauces in the supermarket shelves, but it’s also fun to create your own sauces. To give you readers a few suggestions, I publish a little series of quick and easy recipes for homemade barbecue sauces.

Your imagination has no limits, changing and complementing the recipes to your taste!


Rosemary sprigsIngredients

  • 120 ml white wine vinegar
  • 60 ml water
  • 1 tspn ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 120 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary


BBQ White sauce with RosemaryCombine the vinegar, water, ground black pepper, sugar and mayonnaise in a big enough bowl and mix well.

Dip in the sprig of rosemary.

To get the full flavour put the sauce into the fridge over night.

Take the rosemary sprig out before serving.

Goes well with all kind of poultry, pork meat and fish.
