Summertime is BBQ time. And a good barbecue meal tradtionally includes delicious sauces. Of course, nowadays you can find a wide range of prefabricated sauces in the supermarket shelves, but it’s also fun to create your own sauces. To give you readers a few suggestions, I publish a little series of quick and easy recipes for homemade barbecue sauces.
Your imagination has no limits, changing and complementing the recipes to your taste!

- 120 ml water
- 2 tbsp molasses (black treacle)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tspn salt
- 1 tspn hot pepper sauce (Tabasco or similar)
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer the whole lot, stirring continously, another 10 minutes.
