Pre-Christmas Lunch

After the long hot summer, we now find Christmas is approaching fast and will be here before we know it.
The Doganköy Community Association has been busy planning their traditional pre-Christmas Lunch which will be at Al Shaheen Restaurant in Karakum on Wednesday 16th December at 1pm. There will be a 2-course meal with turkey and all the trimmings followed by coffee and brandy for 40TL per person.
MENU
Choice of Starters;-
Blue cheese and broccoli soup
Garlic mushrooms or
Chicken liver pate
Main meal;-
Roast turkey with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Tea/ coffee with brandy/ coffee liqueur
As normal there is to be a great raffle and time to enjoy a lovely lunch and chat to friends old and new.
This event is for the continued upkeep and maintenance of Doganköy Church which we are told has been granted to the Community Association for another year and the Muhtar will be signing the contract and paying the rent on behalf of the Association. This is good news for those who would like to be able to use the Church for wedding blessings, exhibitions, coffee mornings etc.
