A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus in 2014. For those charity fund-raisers, venues etc. which would like to include an event in the Events Calendar, please contact me.

31^st October – Friday to 15^th November – Saturday	Cyprus Themed Art Exhibition by Benice Gűmrűkçűoğlu at The Bedestan in Lefkosa…. In aid of the SOS Children’s Village hosted under the auspices of Meral Eroğlu…. Opening at 6pm on 31^st October and then 8am to 5pm until Saturday 15^th November (except Sundays when it will be closed).
14^th November – Friday	Phoenix Line Dance Club and Kibris Line Dance Society will be co-hosting a Charity Fundraising event at Club Simena in Lapta in aid of the Karakum Special Needs School…. You can look forward to seeing Devon performing his brilliant Country Music and there will be open dance sessions and dance workshops by Choreographer/Line Dance instructor, Ivonne Verhagen………. 14^th November – Friday	Senol’s Last Boogie Night at SeAngle Bar, Catalkoy starting at 8pm… For more information or to book call 0533 869 3834 (English).
15^th November – Saturday	Fine Dining Restaurant in Esentepe will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good night.
15^th and 16^th November – Saturday and Sunday	Dogankoy Church will be holding an Art Exhibition showing the work of Francois Moncomble, together with a book-signing by Yvonne Çerkiz of her book “Rauf Denktaş – A Private Portrait”…. This will take place between 11am and 4pm each day…. There will also be a raffle with 50% being donated to the church restoration fund.
16^th November – Sunday Note change of venue(was to be at Big Al’s)	Change of Venue = Karsel Bar & Restaurant, Bogaz near Iskele will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music…. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good time…. Entrance fee of 10TL per person and you will also have an opportunity to partake in a couple of dance workshops with Ivonne Verhagen, an award winning International dancer and choreographer…. The “Show” will kick off at 3.00pm and close at around 6.00pm, snacks will be available.
17^th November – Monday	Blood Donor day at Tatlisu Ambulance Station starting at 10am…..All blood types needed so please try to go along…
19^th November – Wednesday	Alsancak Best Seller Bookshop – Christmas Night from 4pm to 6pm…. 10% discount off boxed Christmas cards, trees and crackers….. Free glass of mulled wine with every purchase… Father Christmas for the young people…..Black Olive will be there selling, hot dogs, mince puffs, mulled wine and beers…. Time to start Christmas shopping!
20^th November – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Casablanca (1942)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
20^th November – Thursday	Charity Dinner at Levant Restaurant, Karmi – German Night presented by Ilka Auerbach, starting from 6.30pm….. 3-course meal 50TL with 10TL being donated to KAR…..To book call 0392 822 2559 or 0533 821 5664.

24^th November – Monday	The Olive Press in Lapta will be holding a charity night in aid of the street animals. Entry is 5TL which will be donated to the cause. There will be a Spot the Intro quiz and possibly a raffle. Try and get a team together for this event.
25^th November – Tuesday	Tulips Christmas card making workshop at Baroosh Bar, Alsancak from 11am to 4pm….All cards made will be sold in aid of Tulips at Lambousa Saturday Market and The Food Lodge, Catalkoy….For further information contact Shelly on 0533 864 0753.

4^th December – Thursday	The RBL Theatre Players have been able to put together a show in lieu of the unfortunate cancellation of the pantomime with the theme – The Show Must Go On… This will now be a full 2-hour show called Showstoppers and will be held in the Ambassador Suite at Le Chateau Lambousa in Lapta….. It will now be for one night only and will start at 7.30pm….Tickets are 35TL and places are limited to 350 so RBL will be giving priority to those people who have already purchased tickets for the pantomime….To make a reservation contact Andrew Cowley on 0533 883 0445 or email pantomime.rbl@gmail.com or you can reserve a seat at the RBL stall at the Lambousa Saturday market.
