We have received some news from The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services of their forthcoming events and in particular more information and a poster for the 112 Ball at The Rocks Hotel, Girne on 8th May.
Unfortunately, with everything else being organised there will not be an Afternoon Tea Talk event in May.
These are some events you can look forward to:-
Our monthly quiz will be on Monday 31st March at the Mountain View Hotel – please note the change of venue! This will only be until Huseyin has his new place finished. 
Food is available – Chicken Casserole or Vegetarian Moussaka – please let us know when you book your places if you want food or not as we have to pay for any booked food! The quiz starts at 19.30 and the price is 15TL including food or 5TL without food.
There will be an Afternoon Tea Talk on Wednesday 9th April and the speaker is Alan Broadhurst whose talk is entitled “17 years of Bomb disposal” this is at the Mountain View Hotel at 3pm – the price is 12TL and includes tea, coffee, sandwiches and cakes.
We now have the Ball tickets which Jenny or Brenda will be selling at Chateau Lambousa on Saturdays – this year you can also collect your tickets from Best Seller Bookshops in Alsancak and Karakum, also if it is easier for you we can arrange to leave them at Esta Insurance next to Dizayn74 Pottery – opposite the Ship Hotel. Prices for the tickets are 150TL which includes a 4-course meal, local drinks and entertainment. Jenny is also arranging a coach from Karsyaka and collecting stops on the way – please book the coach to avoid disappointment – the price of the coach will be confirmed later but it is usually around 10TL per person.
