Fundraising Success – In the Pink
By Margaret Sheard
As many people are aware, October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and there were many events held in North Cyprus to help cancer charities.
Carole King and Sue Tilt had a much busier time than normal and were totally exhausted by the end of the month but all of their efforts raised a staggering 33,060.84TL so they were over the moon at the result.
This is what Carole and Sue have reported.
“We are delighted to report that during October, Breast Cancer Awareness month we have raised a staggering 33,060,84TL…….. What a brilliant effort by these 2 dedicated fundraisers. Maybe it is time now for Carole and Sue to take a well earned rest before re-starting on their relentless task of raising funds for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).
