RBL Kyrenia Branch, Poppy Ball 2013
Royal British Legion, Kyrenia Branch announces:
Poppy Ball 2013 at Karakum’s Vuni Palace Hotel
This year the Royal British Legion Kyrenia Branch will be holding its annual Poppy Ball at the luxurious Vuni Palace Hotel which is next door to Oscars Hotel near the beach at Karakum.
The theme for this year’s Ball is based on the fiftieth anniversary of the Aden Campaign which started in December 1963. Sixty eight British Troops were lost with over three hundred injured before the end of hostilities in 1967 with the creation of the People’s Republic of South Yemen.
This stylish event will take place on Saturday 2nd November 2013 commencing at 7.00pm; the availability of unlimited local drinks commences at 7.30pm, lasting until Midnight.
Also included in the ticket price of TL110 for RBL Members (TL120 for non-Members) will be a four course dinner and a full programme of entertainment.
Lead entertainers are to be the Rock ‘n Roll Rebels, with DJ Max providing late lively music until Carriages at 1.00am. The organisers also promise some ‘surprises’.
Last year’s Poppy Ball proved to be very popular with all tickets sold well in advance. Hence those booking for a table of ten, or less, should call 0533 873 6876 now to reserve their places, or at email@example.com
