The Anglo Turkish Association will be holding their Annual General Meeting starting at 10am at Club Z, Girne.  Members need to have valid membership to be able to vote.

Celebrate the Chinese New Year at The Corner House in Ozanköy. 3-course Chinese meal at 45TL per person. 9pm until the early hours. There will be little booklets to take home with your Chinese horoscope and a Chinese lantern for each couple to release in the garden of The Corner House.

The NCCCT coffee morning will be held at The Rocks Hotel in Girne.  Another lovely venue for this event and a treat not to be missed.   The NCCCT AGM will follow the coffee morning and anyone is welcome to stay for this as well.

This is Shrove Tuesday and RBL will be having day of English tradition starting at 11am at The Courtyard in Karakum. There will be pancakes and coffee, and a pancake race and pancake tossing challenge.  Members 5TL, non-members 8TL, entry to events 3TL each.

This will be the 3rd Esentepe Fun Run and will be in memory of George Roper who died in 2012 and was the instigator of the original event to raise funds for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). The route will take the “old shore” road between the Carrington main office (co-located with Magic Bar) and the main junction to Esentepe.  The runs will be 2k starting at 10am (registration 08.30), 10k starting at 11am (registration 9am) and 5k starting at 12 noon (registration 9.30am).  The 2k and 5k will be on the shore route and the 10k will follow the same route but will have 40m on the main road.

The Olive Press will be celebrating their 1st birthday with a bowls competition from 9am until around 4pm and in the evening there will be a party starting at 8pm.  Tickets will firstly be available to members but after 22nd February any remaining tickets will be available to anyone who would like to attend. 

The Children in Need Foundation have arranged a brilliant 2-hour concert to be held at the Girne Amphitheatre featuring “Legend”, the Bob Marley & The Wailers Tribute Band.   This is a definite must for those who will be in the TRNC in July.  For more information click here and look out for more details in future Events Calendars.
