The NCCCT held their bingo night on 19th November at The Ravine in Alsancak.  There were only 16 players this time and the amount raised for the charity was 105TL.   The jackpot was not won and the rollover jackpot stands at 1000TL.  Date of next bingo night to be confirmed.  See Events Calendar for further details.

The Royal British Legion, Kyrenia Branch, Poppy Appeal raised a grand total of 28,851,85TL (£10,018) from the amounts contributed by the Branch, the Poppy Ball, Poppy Shop sales, Poppy Walk, St Andrew’s Church and the poppy collection boxes.  It was hoped they would reach the goal of £10,000, and they did.  This is a marvellous result.

The Children in Need Foundation reported that the Winter Ball was a resounding success and some 23,400TL was raised from sponsorship, donations, the raffle, and their new fundraiser “Winner Takes All” from which the lucky winner received 2,250TL on the night.

Carole King & Sue Tilt are pleased to report the following results for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).

The total raised from the “Text Day” on 23rd October was a massive 21,645TL.   They would like to thank everyone who took part in texting 4171 and to say to everyone else that they can donate at any time by texting to this number.   Thanks also go to Turkcell and Telsim for their joint support.

On Sunday 18th November, the stall at Soyz Bar raised 1,760TL.  Carole & Sue are truly grateful for all who spent money to support their worthwhile cause.
