Freedom and Fairness for Northern Cyprus has launched a new web platform enabling Turkish Cypriots to reach UK Members of Parliament directly.

London, June 30, 2026

Freedom and Fairness for Northern Cyprus has launched a new online platform enabling Turkish Cypriots and their supporters living in the United Kingdom to directly contact their Member of Parliament for their constituency.

Thanks to the “Email Your MP” platform, users can send a pre-prepared letter to their local Member of Parliament in seconds by simply entering their postal code. The platform can be accessed via the following link:

The platform draws attention to five main areas of isolation and inequality that Turkish Cypriots have been subjected to for decades:

• The lack of direct flights between the United Kingdom and Northern Cyprus,
• Direct trade is largely restricted,
• The fact that direct mail delivery to Northern Cyprus is often not possible,
• Preventing Turkish Cypriot athletes and sports clubs from participating in international organizations under their own identities,
• The property issues left behind after the division of Cyprus have not been resolved fairly and permanently for over fifty years.

The campaign highlights that the United Kingdom’s historical responsibilities in Cyprus and its status as a Guarantor State create a significant responsibility and sphere of influence towards ensuring justice and equal treatment in these matters.

Freedom and Fairness for Northern Cyprus invites the more than 300,000 Turkish Cypriots living in the United Kingdom and all their supporters to use this platform to make their voices heard in Westminster.

Campaign officials state that the platform’s aim is not only to convey individual demands to Members of Parliament, but also to make the injustices and isolation faced by the Turkish Cypriot people for many years more visible to the UK Parliament.
