Erdoğan Vows Firm Response to Threats Facing Türkiye, TRNC
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that any attempt to undermine the rights and interests of Türkiye and the Turkish Cypriot people in the Eastern Mediterranean would be met with a firm response.
Addressing his party’s parliamentary group meeting, Erdoğan said Türkiye was closely monitoring developments in both the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus, warning against any actions that could further heighten regional tensions.
“If the rights and interests of Türkiye and the Turkish Cypriot people in the Eastern Mediterranean are targeted, our response will be clear and firm,” he said.
