President Akıncı had video call with UN Secretary General Guterres

President Mustafa Akıncı held a video call with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Friday night (2nd October 2020).

The meeting, which is organised each year within the framework of the annual UN General Council meetings in New York, was held via a video call this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

During the meeting the Cyprus issue and the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean were discussed.
