60 paintings by Kyrgyzstan artists being exhibited at Atatürk Culture and Congress Center.

An exhibition of paintings by Kyrgyzstan artists was opened on 11th February 2019  at the Atatürk Culture and Congress Center. The exhibition was inaugurated by TRNC National Education and Culture Minister Cemal Ozyiğit.

According to the press release of the Near East University the exhibition will remain open to  visitors from 10:00 to 16:00 on weekdays for three weeks.

The Painting Exhibition of People’s Artists of Kyrgyzstan features 60 distinguished paintings created by state order holder Kyrgyz artists including Talant Ogobaev, Rakha Itikeev, Zhylkchy Zhakypov and Yuristanbek Shygayev.

These paintings have been donated to the  Cyprus Museum of Modern Art. The visitors will have the opportunity to see the donated paintings, which reflect distinct painting techniques of Kyrgyz artists, and get a better idea about the art of Kyrgyzstan.
