Özersay sends a condolence message to Afghanistan Foreign Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay sent a condolence message to the Afghanistan Foreign Minister following the terrorist attack in the centre of Wardak province in Afghanistan.

In his message, Özersay expressed his deep sorrow regarding a large number of Afghan security forces members who lost their lives in the terrorist attack and wished on behalf of the Ministry and the government, the speedy recovery of the injured and conveyed condolences to the brotherly people of Afghanistan.

Çavuşoğlu to hold contacts in the TRNC tomorrow

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will arrive in the TRNC in order to hold official contacts.

Çavuşoğlu will  particularly meet with President Akıncı, TRNC officials and the political party leaders within the framework of his contacts which will be held on Friday, 25 January 2019.

 

Further development of close cooperation between the two countries, the latest developments on the Cyprus issue and the energy activities in the Eastern Mediterranean will be discussed at the meeting.

During his visit; Çavuşoğlu will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate in accordance with the decision taken by the Senate of Girne American University (GAÜ).

TRNC at Caravan and Motor Tourism Trade Fair in Germany

North Cyprus has been represented at the “CMT 2019 Stuttgart” caravan and motor tourism trade fair, which is considered one of the world’s largest and longest holiday tourism fairs for consumers.

TRNC Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu stated that the CMT Stuttgart Fair is very important for Northern Cyprus as it is the way to directly access thousands of consumers and stressed that he is delighted with the high interest of the consumers to the TRNC stand.
