By Engin Dervisaĝa…….

This week I set off on another adventure on behalf of Bayrak Radio and Television and also to report about my forthcoming show on cyprusscene.com and I am delighted so many readers are reading these articles.

On Wednesday 6th December I went along with my cameraman Cemal Artemer to the Korineum Golf Club, Esentepe to record interviews and witness the magical performances by the Kyrenia Amateur Dramatic Society (KADS) players in their first presentation of  “Christmas Cracker” at the KADS Murder Mystery Dinner.

There were many people to talk to including KADS director Beverley Westbrook, Jacqueline McIntyre “Mrs Anya Claus”, Holly Berry, Meryem Çerkez Gürtunç, “Fairy Godmother” Caroline Attwood and “Santa Claus” Horst Gutowski,  and my old friend Ralph Kratzer who plays “Inspector Ralph”. He is also the secretary of TFR – The Foreign Residents in the TRNC and this is what he had to say:

Talking to Jacqueline McIntyre “Mrs Anya Claus” and Ralph Kratzer “Inspector Ralph”

“The KADS (Kyrenia Amateur Dramatic Society) annual Murder Mystery Dinner, named “Christmas Cracker” was held tonight and it’s been most successful. All three performances had been sold out very quickly and we were delighted  that you and BRT2 Television came to record our great evening and we look forward to viewing this in your weekly programme VOX POP.

As usual now at KADS there was a strong participation of TFR members in the cast, back stage, front of house and production team and it’s fun to be part of these wonderful events”.

All profits from the KADS show will be donated to SOS and KAR who are both TRNC registered charities.

For a fun evening of great entertainment on my Vox Pop programme do watch this space for the BRT2 transmission dates of this  show which will be published very soon on cyprusscene.com.
