It was amazing to see 166 people attend the Karmi Coffee morning at the Crows Nest on Saturday 30th September 2017 in aid of Tulips, which helped to kick off Pink October.
This was so successful that a massive amount of 8,176TL was raised!
We would like to say a huge thank you to Andrew Clarkson from the Crows Nest, Janine Hutchinson, Dorothy Wanless and April Mansell for organising this event. Also, thank you to Sylvie Austin, who ran an extremely successful bric-a-brac stall, then donated the few remaining goods to Tulips.
We have so many people to thank for making this event an unbelievable success, however, special thanks have to go to Piers Oakley, for providing a great prize to be auctioned, of a return flight to Turkey including a 4 night stay in Taksim, the final bid was £360!
Thank you to everyone who baked, cooked and donated all the beautiful cakes and mouth-watering pastries.
