KAR (Kyrenia Animal Rescue) keep it in the family

Earlier this year one of our Centre dogs (Choco) was adopted by Sue. After some time once all of her travel preparations etc were completed Choco travelled to the UK to be reunited with Sue and her other dogs. Sue had been so patient during the whole process and when Scraggy finally arrived she was delighted…….

“Dear Kim,

I just wanted to thank you for everything that you have done to get Choco safely home. She is in fabulous condition, and has obviously been very well cared for. She has settled in incredibly well and gets on brilliantly with all our other dogs, the whole process, though necessarily long has gone very smoothly”

A few months later we were delighted to receive a visit from Sue and her family, including her Daughter and Grandson. They spent many mornings up at the KAR Rescue Centre walking dogs and one of those dogs was Scraggy.

A bond between them all developed and it was not long before Louise asked if they could adopt Scraggy. They spent the remainder of their time getting to know her better and she was just loving having a family of her own.

Recently Scraggy made the big move to the UK. Her journey went well and after a few hours, in Heathrow Animal Reception Centre, waiting for her vet process and entry paperwork to be checked, a delighted Louise and Scraggy were reunited.

As you can see it did not take Scraggy long to settle in….and she seems to quite enjoy life in the fast lane

It is always wonderful when one of our cats/dogs finds their forever home but even more so when KAR are able to Keep it in the Family for more than one.
