A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus. St Andrew’s Church – Thursday Ladies Group meet at the Kervan Cafe, Kervansaray – 10.30am to 12 noon. All welcome to join for a chat.
Lambousa Auction is now held every week on Saturday at 12noon and viewing can be done on Fridays between 10am and 3pm and on the morning of the auction. To see some of the items have a look at the Facebook page by clicking here

20^th October – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy North by Northwest (1959) …. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…….. Reservations must be made – call 0533 839 8764

22^nd October – Saturday	KAR will be having a “kitten day” at their Karakum office from 10am to 1pm … Why not go along and give a kitten a cuddle or maybe offer a new home or sponsorship.
22^nd October – Saturday	Football – (away) – Esentepe v Bostanci Bagcil SK at Bostanci Yakup Ozorun Stadium .. Kick-off 3.30pm.
22^nd and 23^rd October – Saturday and Sunday	The Corner House, Ozankoy will be holding an autumn/winter sale for KAR of women’s, men’s and children’s clothes, including coats and boots .. 2pm to 6pm each day … All proceeds to KAR.
27^th October – Thursday	RBL Poppy Appeal Official Launch … 11am to 3pm in Girne Town Centre

29^th October – Saturday Note: this has been changed from the 5^th November	RBL Poppy Walk starting from JK’s Bar, Lapta. 5km or 10km walk around the Lapta area – Registration at 9.30am with 10km starting at 10,45 and 5km starting at 11am. 15TL entry fee. 8^th November – Tuesday	NCCCT Coffee Morning will be held this month at Tervetuloa Restaurant in Alsancak from 10.30am to 12noon .. Lots of stalls selling an assortment of lovely items … Always a popular event.
11^th November – Friday	RBL Poppy Ball at the Savoy Ottoman Palace Hotel starting at 6.30pm with pre-dinner cocktails on the pool terrace … This is a black tie / evening dress event … 3-course meal with unlimited premium drinks … £40 (160TL) for members and £45 (180TL) for non-members … Entertainment will be provided throughout the evening by Gareth Severn with many tribute acts and the Ersen Sururi Band which is a 5 piece brass/jazz group to get everyone dancing … Tickets are available at the RBL Stall at Lambousa Saturday Market or Bestseller Bookshops in Karakum and Alsancak.

13^th November – Sunday	RBL Remembrance Service at The Old British Cemetery at 12.30pm … conducted by RBL Kyrenia Branch Chaplain, the Revd. Wendy Hough … There will be 46 UK based Cyprus veterans attending this year .. The service will be followed by lunch at the Ship Inn from 2pm to 5pm .. Spaces for lunch are limited and tickets can be obtained from the RBL stall, Lambousa Market, Bestseller Bookshop, Alsancak and on Thursdays at Creditwest Bank Catalkoy between 11am and 12.30pm (Ann Mockridge).
16^th November – Wednesday	Tulips will be holding a Pink Ladies Bowling event at the Kings Leisure Centre starting at 5.30pm ‘til late … 70TL (10TL to Tulips) for first game of bowling, with food and all local drinks at the party in the function room which will follow the bowling … live music by Katie B … To book a place call 0533 830 8764
