The future of Esentepe football remains very bright as the Under 15 Team keep on winning and are leaders of their group.
Result : ESENTEPE KKSK 7 ve YENİ BOĞAZİCİ DSK 0.
KTFF Under 15 League Group 3: Thursday June 3rd 2016 at the Esentepe Erdal Barut Stadium.
Yes, despite the heat, football is still being played in this part of the world as league leaders Esentepe comprehensively beat bottom Club Yeni Boğazici. With one more match to be played Esentepe should qualify to the quarter finals of this competition. That last match is away to second place Gençler Birliği and whatever the result both Clubs should qualify out of the group stage.
Esentepe turned in a very accomplished performance to demolish Yeni Boğazici. They put together some fine moves and some of the finishing was from the “top drawer “. A word for the opposition who have taken some frightful hammerings this season, they never let their heads drop and have a number of promising players, namely Kaan and Nazmi. Substitute goalkeeper Hüseyin Zafer made some outstanding saves and without him the score would have been in double figures.
For Esentepe there were a number of outstanding performances, physically they were much stronger than Yeni Boğazici, which helped. İzzet in midfield had a very strong game and in the defence with Fatih the pick of the defenders easily dealt with Yeni Boğazici sporadic attacks. Esentepe “man of the match” was the President’s son Sükrü Hilmi Erdoğan who helped himself to a hat trick. Early days yet but he is a talented footballer and has some nice touches, let hope he continues to develop.

Anyone living in Tatlisu area and interested in your local team?
Tatlisu started their summer League campaign last week when they played away at Famağusta against Baf Canbulat Sk and came away with a point in a 2-2 draw. The match was very exciting, end to end stuff both teams going at it like hammer and tongs. Tatlisu had a player sent off but managed to grab a late equaliser.
