Jamie’s new additional Guitar Club will be at the Baroosh Bar in Alsancak every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm. If you like music this is a good chance to learn a new skill.

9^th January – Saturday	Jimmy’s Bar –B-Q, Alsancak – Grand Opening Party starting at 2pm till late ,,,, Entertainment by Pete Murray and also celebration of Yvonne and Osman’s wedding anniversary who have given an invitation to a complimentary buffet and a raffle in aid of Tulips which includes contributions from Best Seller Bookshops Alsancak and Karakum, Fly Inn, and Ileli Supermarket … Yvonne and Oz look forward to welcoming you … Jimmy’s is located on the Lapta Road 200 yards past Ileli Supermarket on the right when travelling from Girne .. 11^th January – Monday	The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be hosting the RBL Quiz Night starting at 7pm … Entry fee is 5TL per person with a percentage to the winning team … Please book teams and food with Sheila on 0533 833 3228 or Vicki on 0533 835 5133.
12^th January – Tuesday	The first NCCCT coffee morning of 2016 will be held at The Savoy Hotel, Girne, on Tuesday, 12th January at 10.30am. The entrance fee of 10TL includes refreshments……. NCCCT hope you can join them to browse the stalls, catch up with friends and perhaps try your luck in our raffle……Every lira raised will be used to buy vital equipment for the hospital.
13^th January – Wednesday	112 Tea Talk at the Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak starting at 3pm … 15TL per person which includes tea/coffee, sandwiches and cakes … The speaker will be Edward Barrett talking about “My Safari in Kenya” … To reserve a place call Brenda on 0533 840 7834.
14^th January – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 6.30pm you can enjoy Flashdance (1983) …. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…. There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
15^th January – Friday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak – Ladies Night starting at 7pm.
21^st January – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 6.30pm you can enjoy Rebel without a Cause (1955) …. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…. 17th January – Sunday	Esentepe Fun Run and Ramble 2016 will be having a Car Treasure Hunt hosted by Stevie’s Restaurant, Kucuk Erenkoy, where registration is made with briefing at 1pm and start at 2pm … 40TL per car ..
