Rotary Club of Kyrenia Liman
presentation to
Karakum Special Needs School
By Chris Elliott…….
A busy week came and a busy week went and it was so nice to sit down and reflect on the sight of so many smiles that I witnessed last week.
On Wednesday 13th May I went along to the Karakum Special Needs school to witness the presentation of 2 bicycles, an electric car, and a mini trampoline by Malcolm Mitcheson, the President of the Rotary Club of Kyrenia Liman.
The smiles on the faces of Headmaster Musa Saygi, the children, their teachers and Malcolm and other Rotary members said it all. “Thank you” and what a great gift for the children so that with the bicycles and the electric car the children can be given tuition by the teachers on road safety and traffic awareness and if they have any energy left they can burn it up on the trampoline.
Events such as this are always so good to hear about and to learn of those kindhearted people who go the extra mile to help others.
