24^th October – Friday	Tulips Pink Month… Wherever you are on this day wear something pink, it doesn’t matter what and donate 5TL to Tulips….. T-Shirts can be purchased for 12TL in advance of this event from Tulips supporters…..To see full information about this and other pink month events click here…
24^th October – Friday	The Olive Press in Lapta will be holding a charity night in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). Entry is 5TL which will be donated to Tulips. There will be a Spot the Intro quiz and possibly a raffle. Try and get a team together for this event.
25^th October – Saturday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be having a Children’s Halloween Party from 3pm to 6pm…35TL for drinks and a buffet…. Children’s places must be booked by contacting Vicki on 0533 835 5133 or email theblackolivecafe@gmail.com….Parents are welcome after 6pm!!
25^th October – Saturday	Coffee Morning – Bring and Buy Sale from 10am to 12noon at The Hermitage, Girne…. Why not drop by for a tea/coffee and homemade cake and a chat with friends and acquaintances…..For further information contact Win on 0533 847 4104…This will be the last coffee morning until the end of March 2015…
26^th October – Sunday	Corner House, Ozankoy. Sunday 26^th October from 12noon…. Bikers, Burgers and Beers…..Bar opens at 12noon and the Bikers will be arriving at about 1pm. There will be entertainment by Blue Tears…. Fully stocked bar and plenty of food to feed an army….. For more information call 0533 845 3465 (English) or 0542 852 5258 (Turkish). This is always a great event.
26^th October – Sunday	The Wild Duck will be holding an event in aid of Hope4Pets North Cyprus…. This is for the street animals of North Cyprus…. Donations of food, bedding etc. would be greatly appreciated…. Why not go along and see if you can help.
26^th October – Sunday	Last of the Summer Wine and Dine at SeAngle Bar, Catalkoy and enjoy a performance by Andrew Sings….. from 4pm…25TL for 2-course meal…To book telephone 0533 869 3834…
27^th October – Monday – New Venue	The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services have a new venue – The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak, for their monthly Quiz Night which has a theme of the 60’s….This will start at 7.30pm and there will be supper for 15TL….To book contact Brenda on 0533 840 7834 or Jenny on 0533 876 1483…..
27^th October – Monday	Dogankoy Church – you can attend a talk by Claire Morley who will be sharing her experiences whilst helping hurricane victims in the Philippines…. This will be at 3pm in the afternoon.
29^th October – Wednesday	Pink Fun Bowling organised by The Food Lodge and Tulips… 10am to 10pm… Kings Leisure Centre….20TL per person per game, including a soft drink and a snack from which 13TL will be donated to Tulips… For more information or to book tel: 0533 839 8764..
30^th October – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) … 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie…… To book call 0533 839 8764…
31^st October – Friday	Another chance to see the Whirling Dervishes at Bellapais Abbey…..8.30 start… Part of the Tulips Pink Month events…. Tickets 15TL from Best Seller Bookshops in Karakum and Alsancak and at the Tulips stall Lambousa Saturday market…..There will be a draw on the night for a wrought iron Whirling Dervish donated by Pat Burns of Iron Works…..

1^st November – Saturday	Service for All Souls Day will be held in St Andrews Church at 3pm…..This will be followed by refreshments in the church hall…..Everyone welcome…For loved ones you wish to be remembered please contact Bill Grundy with their name(s) on 0542 889 0072
1^st November – Saturday	Bonfire Night event at Lambousa Market area from 5pm. In aid of KAR. 15TL if obtained before 25^th October (from Lambousa Saturday Market) or 20TL if obtained at the Gate on the night…. Food and drinks will be available…. For further information telephone 0533 862 4662.
1st November – Saturday	RBL Poppy Walk starting at 11am at JK’s Bar, Lapta. More details later.
6^th November – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy In the Heat of the Night (1967)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…. There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie…. To book call 0533 839 8764…
7th November – Friday	RBL Poppy Ball – 7pm at the Savoy Hotel, Girne. Dress of WW1 period (optional) or Black Tie. More details to follow later.
7^th November – Friday	Best Seller Bookshop, Karakum – 1pm to 3.30pm Richard Chamberlain will be doing book signing of his 2 books and 2015 calendar…. A good opportunity to think about Christmas presents…
7^th November – Friday	Richard Chamberlain will be showing his wonderful photographs taken in the late 50’s in Cyprus at The Savoy Hotel in Girne…. There will also be an RBL event for the Poppy Appeal at the same venue….
7^th to 13^th November – Friday to Thursday	Golden Isle International Film Festival…. Various locations throughout North Cyprus… Full programme to be published shortly.
9th November – Sunday	Remembrance Service at the Old British Cemetery, Girne. 12.30pm…. Followed by lunch at The Ship Inn at 2pm….. There will be a display of Richard Chamberlain’s 1950’s photographs at The Ship and also his 2 books and 2015 Calendar….
11^th November – Tuesday	NCCCT will be holding their November Coffee Morning at Di Figaro in Karaoglanoglu, starting at 10.30am….. This is a lovely venue with plenty of parking space… There will be many stalls there and a chance to start Christmas shopping.
12^th November – Wednesday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be holding their Afternoon Tea at The Black Olive Cafe in Alsancak…..The speaker will be Claire Morley who will be telling of her experiences in the Philippines following the hurricane disaster….. 13^th November – Thursday	Al Shaheen in Karakum will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good night.

14^th November – Friday	Phoenix Line Dance Club and Kibris Line Dance Society will be co-hosting a Charity Fundraising event at Club Simena in Lapta in aid of the Karakum Special Needs School…. You can look forward to seeing Devon performing his brilliant Country Music and there will be open dance sessions and dance workshops by Choreographer/Line Dance instructor, Ivonne Verhagen………. 15^th November – Saturday	Fine Dining Restaurant in Esentepe will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good night.
15^th and 16^th November – Saturday and Sunday	Dogankoy Church will be holding an Art Exhibition showing the work of Francois Moncomble, together with a book-signing by Yvonne Çerkiz of her book “Rauf Denktaş – A Private Portrait”…. This will take place between 11am and 4pm each day…. There will also be a raffle with 50% being donated to the church restoration fund.
16^th November – Sunday – Note change of venue(was to be at Big Al’s)	Change of Venue – Karsel Bar & Restaurant, Bogaz near Iskele will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music…. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good time…. Entrance fee of 10TL per person and you will also have an opportunity to partake in a couple of dance workshops with Ivonne Verhagen, an award winning International dancer and choreographer…. The “Show” will kick off at 3.00pm and close at around 6.00pm, snacks will be available.
20^th November – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Casablanca (1942)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…. 29th November – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day at Girne State Hospital.
4^th December – Thursday	The RBL Theatre Players have been able to put together a show in lieu of the unfortunate cancellation of the pantomime with the theme – The Show Must Go On… This will now be a full 2-hour show called Showstoppers and will be held in the Ambassador Suite at Le Chateau Lambousa in Lapta….. It will now be for one night only and will start at 7.30pm….Tickets are 35TL and places are limited to 350 so RBL will be giving priority to those people who have already purchased tickets for the pantomime….
