Photography Exhibition at

Doğanköy Church

Unfortunately Richard Chamberlain was not able to be present for his scheduled photography exhibition at Doğanköy Church, but the exhibition was still held on Monday 22nd September, with the help of his daughter, Lynne who liaised with Paula Shirley and Incilay Fell of the Doğanköy Community Association.

Many of the local residents and visitors turned up to see Richard’s wonderful photographs which were taken in 1954/55 and to look at and purchase his books and 2015 calendar which were also available.

Richard recently held an exhibition in Famagusta but unfortunately he had to return to the UK early due to his wife’s ill health. He was very concerned about not being available for the exhibition at Doğanköy Church but it would seem that, despite his absence, the event went very well.
