Girne American University Stage School Dance Fest 2014

Dance Fest 2014 at GAU

By Margaret Sheard

Having recently attended and enjoyed the GAU Dance Academy Gala Evening, performed by the children and older students of GAU, I am Dance Fest smalllooking forward to the Dance Fest 2014 which is to be performed by students of the Stage School and will be held at 8.30pm on Thursday 24th July at the GAU International Congress Centre Spectrum Hall.

Entrance is free of charge and the performance is open to the general public.  Often there is not sufficient advance publicity of some events but I am pleased that this infDance Fest small 2ormation has been received in plenty of time to give people an opportunity of planning the event if they wish to attend.  Having seen the quality of the choreography and the dancing, I would recommend this as a potentially wonderful evening of music and dance to look forward to.

I have been told that new choreographies will be introduced to the audience and various dance routines which have been prepared by dance masters.

The GAU Dance Academy has been receiving national and international success in competitions they have entered so the audience will be sure to see a professional and very enjoyable performance.
