Cyprus – The joint statement is

made!

Following a meeting, the two leaders of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Cyprus have agreed to work towards a new system of power sharing in a bid to end a bitter and long-running conflict which has been frustrating Turkey’s hopes of joining the EU and complicating its relations with Greece.
