It’s Pantomime Time
By Margaret Sheard
Christmas is approaching at a very fast rate and what better for the festive season than a Pantomime. We have seen some lovely productions over the past few years and this year will be no exception with a spectacular “Dick Whittington & his Cat” to look forward to which is being presented by the RBL Theatre Players. You will probably recognise a lot of the familiar faces amongst the performers that you have seen in previous theatre productions and of course with the pantomime under the direction of Mark Lake, it is bound to be a brilliant event.
There will be performances of Dick Whittington on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd November and again on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November. Ticket sales have been really good and some nights are now fully booked but there is still some availability on Friday 22nd November and Thursday 28th November.
The Pantomime is being held at the Girne Cultural Centre (next to the Wednesday Market area) and curtain up will be at 7.30pm. Tickets are 25TL for adults and 15TL for children. For the 28th November performance, RBL members can receive a 5TL discount on their ticket, so remember to take your membership card if you want to take advantage of this offer.
If you haven’t already got tickets you will need to move quickly to avoid disappointment. For reservations call 0533 883 0445 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets can be collected from the RBL stall at the Lambousa Saturday market.
This will be entertainment at its best so try not to miss it and you will be assured of a fun-packed evening.
