Chris went to Lambousa Market to pick up some tickets for the KADS production of Absolute KADS and Bounders which is to be performed at the Girne Municipality Culture Centre Theatre on Friday 28th June and Saturday 29th June starting at 7.30pm each evening. While he was there he spoke with Beverley Westbrook, who is the Secretary of KADS, and she told him what the audience will be able to enjoy over the 2 nights’ performances.
It is an evening of comic variety and music and there will be 23 showcase performances including such well known comedy artists as The Two Ronnies, Monty Python, Eddie Izzard and also monologues from Pam Ayres and Joyce Grenfell, there will be comedy songs of Victoria Wood, spiritual songs and sketches and much more.
It seems we will be treated to a very good evening’s entertainment and personally I am really looking forward to it.
The KADS actors and actresses and their producer put so much hard work into their productions, rehearsing for many weeks before the actual performance and they have the pleasure of using the lovely little theatre which is situated at the Municipality Building next to the Wednesday market area.

KADS December Delight!
We are pleased to share news that the Kyrenia Amateur Dramatic Society, supported by the Girne Belediyesi, will be presenting for your entertainment two plays at the Kyrenia Municipality Cultural Centre.
“Costa del Packet” by Anthony Booth and “World Premiere” by Charles Mander under the direction of Lawrie Oxley will come to the stage at 8pm from Thursday 6th December to Saturday 8th December.
Reservations can be made at Lambousa Saturday Market or at the Cultural Centre door.
All profits from these presentations will be donated to “Kyrenia Animal Rescue” and the “SOS Children’s Village”. This is your chance for a splendid evening’s entertainment with friends in great surroundings and also to lend support to two very good causes.
