Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay said: “It is a disappointment for the stability and peace in the region that the US announced its decision to actually lift the arms embargo on the Greek Cypriot side on September 1, World Peace Day”.
TRNC Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay reacted to US Under-Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale’s visit to South Cyprus.
Stating that the 52-year period of the Cyprus negotiations, which failed to yield results, was the main reason for the victimisation, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay said that he will not confine the Turkish Cypriots to the negotiation table.
