Prime Minister Üstel: “Hakan Fidan’s statement on the two-state solution reflects the firm stance of the Turkish Cypriot people”

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that the position on the two-state solution expressed by Hakan Fidan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, reflects the firm stance of the Turkish Cypriot people.

In a written statement, Prime Minister Üstel expressed his support for the vision of a two-state solution put forward by Foreign Minister Fidan, during his meeting with Maria Angela Holguin Cuellar, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy on Cyprus. He emphasized that the rights of the Turkish Cypriot people, based on sovereign equality and equal international status, are non-negotiable
