An Update On Honey From Esentepe Rehoming Project.

First of all a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has responded to our earlier post regarding trying to find a home for HONEY.

The interest has been overwhelming not that we are complaining !

We have had so many likes, people offering to make donations and quite a few enquires offering a home in the UK and Europe.

As of yet no offers locally of a forever home for her, it’s early days and we remain optimistic.

Of course, it will be better for HONEY if we can find her next forever home here in the TRNC.

The GOOD NEWS is we have found a foster home for her, a very kind lady who I believe lives in Ozanköy has offered HONEY a place in her home until we find permanent accommodation. We will take her from the shelter on Saturday at least she will be out of her cage and enjoy some freedom.

We think and I would welcome your opinions to keep on trying locally to re-home her for at least another week.

If we have had no luck then maybe we need to look at the option of sending her to the UK or Europe.

The costs of the flight will be of course astronomical which is why maybe we will then need to set up a GO FUND ME ACCOUNT.

To all those good people who have offered her a home in the UK/Europe and those who are willing to help regarding the cost of the flight, can we put you on hold for a week?
