New Photo Exhibition "Azerbaijan in My Heart"

Retired teacher and photographer, Tevfik Ulual’s, photo exhibition “Yüreğimdeki Azerbaycan” (Azerbaijan in My Heart) will open on January 8th at the Lefkoşa Atatürk Cultural Center Exhibition Hall. The exhibition, which will open at 18:00 pm, will donate the proceeds from the sale of the exhibited photographs to the Şampiyon Melekleri Yaşatma Derneği (Champion Angels Survival Association). Ulual took the photos in the exhibition during the years 2019-2023 while serving as the Education and Culture Attaché of the KKTC Baku Representation.

Tevfik Ulual, a member of the Cyprus Turkish Photography Association (FODER) since 2008, has numerous national and international awards and has frequently exhibited his works. Ulual holds the titles “AFIAP,” “EFIAP,” “EFIAP/Bronze,” and “EFIAP/Silver” awarded by the International Federation of Photographic Art FIAP.

Having previously organized the “Brother Countries” exhibition twice in Azerbaijan, Ulual presented the “Yüreğimdeki Azerbaycan” exhibition to photography enthusiasts in Azerbaijan in June. Regarding his exhibition, opening on Monday at Lefkoşa AKM, Tevfik Ulual said, in a statement to TAK, that he included 44 photographs in his exhibition to commemorate the liberation of Azerbaijan’s occupied territories after 44 days.

Ulual emphasized the need to strengthen and develop the friendship and brotherhood ties between the TRNC and the sister country Azerbaijan, not only through political, economic, educational, and tourism activities but also by advancing and developing cultural and artistic events. He expressed his desire to share the beauties of Azerbaijan with the people of the country. Ulual wished for the continued growth of cultural and artistic relations between the countries.
