Girne Municipality organized its second Christmas Bazaar event last weekend, following the first one held on December 16-17. The event started on Saturday, December 23, at 11:00 in Ramadan Cemil Square. The activities began as soon as the booths opened and continued with Santa Claus distributing gifts at 14:00. The event featured a performance by the ‘Family Band Cyprus’ at 16:00 and continued with Nice Kabeya’s Christmas songs at 19:00, concluding at 20:00.

The Bazaar continued on Sunday, December 24, starting again at 11:00 in Ramadan Cemil Square. After the opening of the booths, Santa Claus distributed more gifts at 14:00, followed by a dance performance by ‘Kyrenia Tango Argentino’ at 15:00. The day continued with a performance by ‘Serdar Tui̇ksal Quintet’ at 16:00. Throughout the event, food and beverage stalls, as well as gift shops, welcomed visitors. Balloon distribution and face painting activities for children were also organized.

End-Of-Year Walking Event

The Girne Municipality Nature Club’s ‘End-of-Year Walking Event’ finished in Ramadan Cemil Square. Girne Municipality Mayor, Murat Şenkul, former Girne Mayor, Sümer Aygın, GAU General Secretary, Aylin Ayhan, Associate Prof. Dr. Serdar Yurtseven, Coordinator of the Student Affairs Department, Ozan Erdogan, and GAU MCC students took part in the ‘End-of-Year Walk’ organized by the Girne Municipality Nature Club.
