NEU Prof. Erdal Aygenç in selection committee of Arts Week in China

Professor Erdal Aygenç, the  Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University, was invited to be a member of the selection committee of the International Modern Art and Design Fair Competitions in China.

Beijing was the venue for various art competitions, as part of the International Contemporary Arts Week of China. A large number of art specialists and artists participated in these competitions.

Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Erdal Aygenç said that he was honoured to represent the Near East University in the competition, where expert trainers and artists from various countries were present as jury members. Prof. Aygenç stated that within the scope of the International Contemporary Arts Week new talents were discovered and encouraged in the fields of painting, sculpture, graphics, and photography. Aygenç also stated his membership in the committee would have made a significant contribution to the international recognition of the Near East University and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
