President Mustafa Akıncı made a statement using his social media account and said ‘Greek Cypriot Administration is stressing that making cooperation with Turkey is beneficial for all parties.
It is correct but missing a crucial point. The path which goes to cooperation with Turkey begins with cooperation with Turkish Cypriots.
Any attitude which ignores the Turkish Cypriot people is null and void’.

The only reason GC is acting in this manner, they expect that in this manner they shall attain being recognised by The Turkish Republic and reduce the Turkish Cypriots into a minority status to be ignored at their leisure.
