Following a wedding in Dipkarpaz in May, we had an invitation for another wedding in June.
John and Valerie Aziz Kent invited us to the wedding of their son Attila and Anna Fiorentini on 22nd June at Chateau Lambousa, Lapta.
There were many guests attending, both for the bride and groom, and the setting was just wonderful for this occasion. The ceremony was held at 6.30pm, just as the sun was going down, in the lower level grassed area of Chateau Lambousa which was laid out with seating for the guests, and a red carpet to the area where the registration took place. I am sure some of the guests holidaying at Chateau Lambousa must have been well impressed with what they saw.
While we were waiting for the bride to make her entrance there was music by Mo Talukder (flute) and Analise Cassar. Then Anna arrived on the arm of her father Alfred Fiorentini and accompanied by her bridesmaids. She looked stunning, a beautiful dress with a very long train. There was more music by Jermain Jackman and a welcome and introduction, followed by the declarations, and a reading by Ted Cumming. Then came the Exchange of Vows. There was another reading by Mary Thorne and Attila and Anna signed the register, during which there was more music from Ellie Goulding and Jermain Jackman.
Anna looked so happy as she danced by the side of her new husband.
The guests then made their way to the reception which was held by the side of the huge pool, it had two large flower arrangements floating on it, another lovely touch. The tables all had the theme of musical shows, we were on Half a Sixpence. Music was provided by Serdar Tuksal and his group which went on through the evening in between the speeches and the cutting of the cake.
It was a lovely evening, the weather and setting perfect for this special wedding.
