The Mayor of Girne, Nidai Güngördű welcomed the authors of a book for children of the age 4-5 years.
Near East University (NEU) Pre-school Coordinator Aygun Akyener and NEU Pre-school Teacher Derya Amca Toklu had carried out a line study with children aged 4-5 years and prepared an activity book.
In his speech, Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördű pointed out that one of the main aims of pre-school education was to prepare the children at the kindergarten stage.
NEU Preschool Coordinator Aygün Akyener said that in the pre-school period where development was prioritised, the line studies supported the development of the children with the use of pencils and hand/eye coordination, Aygün Akyener, said the book was prepared to increase children’s levels and to support learning
