Girne Municipality Art Gallery, hosted a personal painting exhibition by retired Colonel Tanju Aykol.
Colonel Tanju Aykol’s painting exhibition entitled “Romantic Hand of the Soldier in Cyprus“ was held between 7-14 January. The opening ceremony of the exhibition at the Girne Municipality Art Gallery was organised by the Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces. Dr. Holy Ozturk. Girne Mayor, Nidai Güngördü, and the public attended.
In his speech at the opening of the exhibition Mayor Nidai Güngördü said Tanju Aykol was well-known and the personal painting exhibition created excitement and happiness.
The artist Tanju Aykol thanked Mayor Güngördü and the Girne Municipality for providing the opportunity for the exhibition to be held.
