Driving safely in Northern Cyprus

Most drivers in Northern Cyprus will consider they are perfect drivers and other drivers are not but what makes a careful and considerate driver?

Spatial awareness, consideration of other road users and also obeying the speed limits and other regulations.

Increasingly we are finding very comprehensive and helpful information on TRNC Ministerial websites and the Road Safety poster shown under can be found on the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation website.

Clearly if all road users adhered to the advice and regulations given in this poster then the death rate and accident levels would fall dramatically.
