Girne Municipality hosted a play about Vecihi Hürkuş at the Girne Municipality Theatre on 21st and 22nd May, which described the life of Vecihi Hürkuş, Turkey’s first aircraft designer and manufacturer.
The one-act play was directed by Mansur Erk with Murat Demirbaş in the role of Vecihi Hürkuş.
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü said that he was very happy to host the theatre play which tells the story of the life of Vecihi Hürkuş, Turkish pilot, engineer and entrepreneur, and one of the most important names in Turkish aviation history,
