On behalf of myself and the TFR committee we would like to thank our members for their phenomenal generosity in response to the TOMBOLA donation that we held as part of our fun afternoon celebrating Easter Monday at The Blue Song Restaurant, Lapta.
We enjoyed a super lunch of chicken, meatballs and pork accompanied by various salads. We would also like to thank the owner Esat Muhtaroğlu for providing this special meal with excellent efficiency along with his staff who worked tirelessly to ensure we were getting the seating correct to achieve a great atmosphere. Esat also very generously donated 100 lira to bring our donation money to an amazing 1,420 lira.
Together with Sandy Oram, I will go to the Cheshire Home in Bellapais to ask exactly what is required to buy for their Rehabilitation Centre, which we will hand over in due course.

It is not often possible to attend events due to pressure of work, but we did manage to go to the TFR Easter Monday event at Blue Song Restaurant and had a really nice afternoon catching up with members we haven’t seen for a while. Everything was very well organised, the food was very good and there was a nice atmosphere in a great location.
