A signing ceremony was organized for the insurance of the Girne Art Gallery, which was previously the old transformer building, and restored by the Municipality of Girne and put into service.

Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü and Limasol Insurance Chairman Hüseyin Kemaler signed the insurance contract at a ceremony held at the Girne Art Gallery.  Following the ceremony, Hüseyin Kemaler handed the policy for the building to Mayor Güngördü.

Güngördü: The insurance fee will not be paid

Nidai Güngördü also stated that the gallery is for the people of the city for exhibitions, interviews and book introductions, and the building has been insured by Limassol Insurance free of charge. Güngördü thanked Limasol Insurance for insuring the building, on behalf of the municipal councillors and the people of the city.

Kemal: We also secured the buildings and works

Limasol Insurance Chairman Hüseyin Kemaler thanked Nidai Güngördü and the municipality employees who restored the old transformer building, which was to be demolished, and brought it to Girne as an art gallery. Hüseyin Kemaler said that they were happy to insure the building by carrying the risk, and stated that the works to be exhibited would also be insured. Kemaler also added that the building will be helped with the measures to be taken after it is insured.
