President Akıncı issued a message for the Russian Ambassador to Turkey
President Mustafa Akıncı issued a message regarding the armed attack on the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Andrey Karlov.
In his message, President Akıncı stated that “I have learned with great sadness that Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov has lost his life in an armed attack. Whatever the purpose is, we condemn every kind of terror. I offer my condolences to the Russian people and Mr. Karlov’s family, and I share their grief.”
Negotiators met for four and a half hours
Negotiators Özdil Nami and Andreas Mavroyiannis met again yesterday as part of the Cyprus talks.
The meeting started at 10:00 and lasted for around four and a half hours. Implementation of the settlement and EU issues were discussed at the meeting.
