According to a report by Alithia, a Greek Cypriot newspaper, the seven MPs at the protest were from DISI, ELAM and the Solidarity Movement.
Mr Hristofi is now said to be considering cancelling the new order, Alithia reports.

The Agriculture and Natural Resources Minister Nazım Çavuşoğlu has stated that it is unacceptable that a group of Greek Cypriots protested against a Greek Cypriot trader who legally imports potatoes from the TRNC under the Green Line Regulations.
In his written statement, Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that he was saddened and worried by the situation. Trade takes place between the two sides as part of the Green Line Regulations, Minister Çavuşoğlu noted, but some fanatics are trying to prevent it.

Minister Çavuşoğlu also called upon the Greek Cypriot Minister of Agriculture Nikos Kuyalis to implement new initiatives that will encourage peaceful cooperation and trading for future generations.
