The season’s first Abnormals’ show, in aid of the Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips), raised 1,000TL for the charity.
Held at The Venue near Esentepe on Saturday 16th July, the evening was full of fun and comedy with the Abnormals providing their own particular brand of variety show. There was also a guest appearance by Kelsey Opel.
About 70 people attended the event where they enjoyed either a two-course or a three-course meal. All those who attended paid 10TL for their ticket and this, together with the raffle, raised the 1,000TL for the charity.
Mary Watson, Chairperson of the 2017 EFRAR committee said: “I am so delighted the Abnormals have chosen Tulips as their designated charity and I am confident that with their energy and enthusiasm, they will raise a significant amount of money for the charity over the coming months.”
The Abnormals next show, which will start at 8.30pm will be on Saturday, 30th July at the Gorgeous Bar, Küçük Erenköy. Booking is advised by ringing 0533 837 7020.
