Raising money for TULIPS (Help Those with Cancer)
The Quiz Night at Remzi’s restaurant in Esentepe on Friday, 26th February, raised 715TL for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).
Thirty contestants took part in the quiz, run by myself and Eileen Cox, and was won by Team Cool for Cats with a total of 81 points over 6 rounds.
Everyone enjoyed a meal of meze followed by chicken and chips cooked by Remzi and his family. With a donation of 5TL per meal, 5TL to enter the quiz and a raffle, the organisers were very happy with the amount raised.
Chairman of EFRAR, Art Watson said: “The EFRAR committee would like to thank Remzi and his family for the delicious meal, the quiz organisers, those who brought raffle prizes and everyone who attended to help raise money for the Association. We know that all these small events add up to a larger donation to the Association so it is important they are supported.”
